It’s 8 AM and I’m still trying to pry my eyes open, but this little bit of cool news woke me right up.

Regular readers of this blog know that I’m a big fan of Pat Patriot, that gorgeous star-spangled heroine of the 1940’s who had a brief (but memorable) run during the first year of Daredevil Comics.

‘Til now you’d have to download multiple issues of Daredevil to read all of Pat’s adventures (and I encourage you to do so regardless, because that comic’s pages contained a plethora of really swell characters). But the fine folks over at the Digital Comics Museum have collected all of the Pat Patriot tales into a single (digital) volume:

The Adventures of Pat Patriot

It’s a free download, but you’ll need to register as a new user with the site (unless, like me, you already have a user account). You’ll also need a comic reader program if you don’t already have one; I have several listed in the Links section in the right-hand frame (scroll way down to find it). I prefer CDisplay but, as in all things, your mileage may vary.

C’mon, download it and start reading — and I dare you fellas to not wind up with a crush on Pat.

Have fun! — Steve
