Continuing with the stats for our Silver City V&V campaign, we now present our player characters. First up, yours truly, with some yah-dah yah-dah backstory added at no extra charge.

After quitting The Paladins in the mid-1980’s, Deep Freeze retired to civilian life. Other than minor tasks (such as chilling a drink with his ice powers or using his devitalization ray to cause overbearing co-workers to experience sudden fatigue and make them go home early), he was not to use his metahuman powers again for a quarter-century.

Deep Freeze suspected that his teenaged sons had started to exhibit metahuman abilities, a suspicion which was confirmed when he caught the twins sneaking into the house one night with one of them having suffered a relatively minor injury which could have been far worse. Knowing that forbidding the boys to use their powers would be a waste of breath, he revealed to them that he had been the famous 1980’s hero and decided that he’d train them to become better meta-heroes.

After a couple of minor adventures, the (still nameless) team was invited to become an adjunct to the Justice Federation. The trio accepted, and Deep Freeze named the team Junior Justice. Shortly thereafter, a school friend of the twins also joined the team. This was followed by the establishment of a headquarters in an empty building in a warehouse section of Silver City, just a couple of blocks from the downtown district. The young hero Nightfang left the team early on, but the core family trio adventured together for three years, with Deep Freeze joining in a few side ventures with the Justice Federation.

In mid-2011, Lightning Lama and The Wraith departed for college, also leaving Junior Justice (the boys are now known as “The TNT Twins”). The Justice Federation replaced them with three young teenaged metahumans, entrusting them to Deep Freeze’s tutelage. The recently-revived 1940’s hero Jack Victory presently remains with the team as he adjusts to life in the 21st century, thus making the new incarnation of Junior Justice a tri-generational metahuman organization.
