After 40 years of writing and voice work, I’ve decided it’s time to kick back and enjoy my life a bit more and work a bit less. Although I am still editing a few chess books a year for companies with which I have a prior relationship, I am no longer accepting commissions for writing, video production, or voice acting/narration work.

Also, please do not send me unsolicited manuscripts with requests for my critique (this happens far more often than you’d think). These are deleted, unread.

    Hi. Steve –

First off, thanks for linking to my Thrilling Tales of the Downright Unusual site, down there in your sidebar.

I thought that if you liked the site that well you might care to know that I’ve started a serialized illustrated story there now. It’s called “The Lair of the Clockwork Book”. It isn’t meant to replace the branching, interactive stories; the site just needed some more content that updates frequently, so that folks would have a reason to come back more often.

    Here it is:

While my pre-banked pages work through their schedule I’m back at work on Part Two of “The Toaster With TWO BRAINS”.

    Thanks again for the link!

    Hi Steve

Regarding The Flag as in your link: https://fourcolorglasses.wordpress.com/2012/06/27/a-private-axis-army-our-flag-comics-3-december-1941/
I can’t seem to find this story in Our Flag Comics #3 (Dec 1941) by Ace. It’s not there. In fact I can’t find it anywhere. From which mag does it belong to? I sure would like to know.

There was a long time discrepancy in the digital issue numbering caused by the incomplete nature of the physical copies (missing covers and pages). It was corrected in late 2013; see the entries and downloads for Our Flag Comics at the Digital Comic Museum.
